Complete Home Refurbishment with new layout
The clients, a professional couple with a busy lifestyle were in need of home refurbishment. Their newly purchased end-terraced traditional house needed a rear extension to be demolished and rebuilt, and conversion into a two-bedroom, upstairs bathroom, and a remodelled ground floor lounge and kitchen diner. Our client’s requirements included a layout reconfiguration and rear extension rebuilt, with full home refurbishment including foundation underpinning.
New plumbing through the property, fully tiled bathrooms, installed new radiator systems and a combi boiler. The family bathroom had been relocated to the first floor.
We installed an open plan kitchen - diner, with a skylight to a flat roof and beautiful casement double doors, creating plenty of living space and natural light. The bespoke kitchen was designed with an island and a ceiling extractor. The worktop fitted was in composite stone in dark grey grains. Karndean flooring throughout the ground floor, bespoke cupboard doors and skirting to compliment the finish to a high standard.
The living area had to be modified to create a storage area under stairs and partially as a utility room. Our highly trained plasterer, which created an immaculate finish, to the whole house, where every surface merged into one, with thorough attention to detail.
Our carpenter installed all the doors, locks, skirting and wooden flooring throughout the ground floor. The electrical team dealt with all the wiring, including brand new edition 18 consumer board. Plumbing and guttering needed special attention to allow pipework to be fully covered. Drains and sewage pipes have been upgraded to comply with the latest regulations.
The garden is still outstanding and planned to be completed in spring 2021.
